Most of the sections work fine by themselves, so you don't need to commit to following the entire guide just pick and choose the parts you want. In fact, not too long ago I wrote an article about the top 7 mods for your Fallout 4 load order - so it seems only fitting that Skyrim SE get's it's own article.Follow the instructions on the pcea mod page. XPMSE is on further down the list and doesn't show. This has also been tested by myself as providing a smooth gameplay with minimal crashing (only in Lake View Manor) and occasional harmless freezing while traversing the land of Skyrim.
